DELIVERY INFORMATION AND SHIPPING

GOTHENBURG ltd aims to deliver your chosen items to the place and person specified on your order, in perfect condition and in the shortest time we can achieve. All items are sent by Royal Mail first class or next working day delivery service. Standard delivery time 2-5 business days.

UK CUSTOMERS:

No delivery charges

FOR International:

shipping will be charged depending on the destination.  Please select your shipping destination from the list of countries when proceeding to checkout when you have chosen your product(s)- you will then find at the bottom of the page the displayed available charges.

If you wish to track your parcel, please email us on info@gothenburgboots.com and we will either track your shipment for you or email you a tracking number which can be used on the royal mail website.

For countries outside the EU, sales tax, customs and import duties are charged once the parcel reaches its destination country. These charges must be paid by the recipient of the parcel. Unfortunately, we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you may wish to contact your local customs office for further information.

RETURNS & DELIVERY POLICY

TERMS OF DELIVERY OF GOODS

GOTHENBURG Ltd reserves the right to delay the dispatch of an order, for instance if there is insufficient stock or further security checks to verify the customer or the customer’s payment are required. We will contact you if there is a delay or items are out of stock. Please also note that any duty and taxes incurred in the country of destination are the responsibility of the customer.

RETURNS

In the event that you want to return part of your order for any reason you can contact us by email within 7 working days (with the 7 day period beginning one day after you receive your order).

To notify us of your partial or all of your order return by email you can contact us at our info@gothenburgboots.com email address with “Order Return” as the subject line and including your full name and Invoice Number in the body of the email. You should also tell us in the body of the email what part of your order you need to return to us using the Product Style listed on your invoice and specify that you wish to return the product(s) for a refund (as opposed to exchanging the products for another size).

We will then contact you via email to confirm that we have received your return request and to advise that we are processing a refund of the cost of that part of your order. We will then advise you by email of your Returns Authorisation Number which you will need to fill out on the “Returns and Exchanges” Form.

In the event of a partial or all of your order return we will arrange complimentary collection of the goods back to our GOTHENBURG address. We will advise you via email of the process for your return, and to organise a time for collection of the products that you are returning.

Please include a completed “Returns and Exchanges” Form with your returned product(s) so that we can correctly process your return. This form would have been received with the delivery of your order. If you no longer have this form please contact us on info@gothenburgboots.com and we will arrange an alternative for you.

Until the order is collected it will be your responsibility to retain the goods and to take reasonable care of the goods until the goods are returned to us. We ask that you keep all associated tags and packaging with the products and keep the products undamaged and unsoiled. If you intend to return a part of your order we ask that you do not wear the products for any unreasonable length of time to prevent damage.

We will refund the full value of your order (including shipping costs to your destination), within 30 days of receiving your notice of contract cancellation.

EXCHANGES

In the event that you wish to exchange part or all of your order for other sizes you can contact us by email within 7 working days (with the 7 day period beginning one day after you receive your order). Please note that we are only able to offer size exchanges. If you wish to exchange your item for an alternative style, we suggest that you purchase the new item separately.

To notify us of your exchange by email you can contact us at our info@gothenburgboots.com email address with “Order Exchange” as the subject line and including your full name and Invoice Number in the body of the email. You should also tell us in the body of the email whether it is all or part of the order that you wish to exchange. You must also notify us of which size you would prefer. While we cannot guarantee that we can reserve a replacement item for you, we will endeavour to hold a substitute item for you if available. You should also note all of this information on your “Returns and Exchanges” Form.

In the event of an exchange we will arrange the collection of the products back to our GOTHENBURG address. We will advise you via email of the process for your exchange, and to organise a time for collection of the products that you are returning.

Please include a completed “Returns and Exchanges” Form with your returned product(s) so that we can correctly process your exchange, taking care to note which new items you will want to receive. This form would have been received with the delivery of your order. If you no longer have this form please contact us on info@gothenburgboots.com and we will arrange an alternative for you.

Until the order is collected it will be your responsibility to retain the goods and to take reasonable care of the goods until the goods are returned to us. We ask that you keep all associated tags and packaging with the product(s) and keep the product(s) undamaged and unsoiled. If you intend to exchange a part of your order we ask that you do not wear the product(s) for any unreasonable length of time to prevent damage.

Please allow 7 to 14 days to receive your new items, from the time that we pick up your return. In the event that a replacement item is no longer available we will advise you of this via email and refund you the cost of the product(s). If you have returned your total order for exchange and no replacement items are available we will refund the original order. The refund excludes the cost of return (with the exception of faulty goods). This is deducted for each order that is returned however, we do refund your delivery cost from when you placed your order.

NON-UK RETURNS

Customers outside the UK will need to make their own returns arrangements through any postal carrier. The buyer is responsible for the cost of returning any items, and GOTHENBURG Ltd is not responsible for any returns lost or damaged in the post.

REASONABLE CARE

Customers are legally obliged to take reasonable care of the items they order whilst they are in their possession. If you have purchased items from GOTHENBURG Ltd and fail to take reasonable care of unwanted items before returning them to us, we will not accept your return and you will not be eligible for a refund.

CANCELLATIONS

For any cancelled order you will need to provide us with written notice within 7 working days. In order to cancel your order you must notify GOTHENBURG in writing either by email or post within this 7 working day time period.

We will then contact you via email to confirm that we have received your cancellation request and to advise that we are processing a refund of the total cost of your order contract (including any delivery costs that we have charged you).

During this cancellation period it will be your responsibility to retain the goods and to take reasonable care of the goods until the goods are returned to us.

PRODUCT SIZE AND COLOUR

On our site we provide sizing guidelines to help you to choose the correct product size for your needs. We also make every effort to present the most accurate colour images of the products available. Due to the variations in computer monitor colours we cannot guarantee colour accuracy for all customers. For products where both a flat lay image and a lookbook or catwalk image are presented for a garment, the flat lay image will represent the most correct colour in most instances.

If for any reason you are unhappy with the size of your garment then this will fall under the normal conditions of our Returns and Refunds policy.

ORDER PROCESS AND PAYMENT

By placing an order for a product through the GOTHENBURG site you are initiating a process that is subject to our Terms and Conditions. If you place an online order with us or register your details with us then you are accepting our company practices as outlined in our Terms and Conditions. If you are under 16, we require that you inform a parent or guardian about GOTHENBURG’s Terms and Conditions and ensure that they agree with both policies before submitting your order.

When placing an order you undertake that all details you provide to us are true and accurate, and that you are an authorised user of the credit or debit card used to place your order. You should also ensure that there are sufficient funds available to cover the cost of your purchase prior to submitting your order, allowing for any currency conversions to foreign credit or debit cards.

In order to pay for your purchases we will need to carry out a standard check on your debit or credit card to ensure that there are sufficient funds available on that card.

IF YOU HAVE SUBMITTED INCORRECT ORDER DETAILS

If for any reason you submit information that you later realise is incorrect, you should cancel your order and resubmit with the correct details. If you have already received an email from GOTHENBURG confirming dispatch of the goods you should contact us immediately on the info@gothenburgboots.com email address with “Incorrect Order Details” in the subject line and provide us with your order reference number and details of the problem in the body of the email. We will then attempt to remedy the situation and contact you with details on how the situation has been addressed.

ORDER ACKNOWLEDGEMENT EMAIL

Once your order has been submitted you will receive an acknowledgement email confirming that we have received your order. This acknowledgement email does not guarantee that we will be able to deliver the goods at the time of your order. Though we make every effort to represent correct availability and pricing to our customers on our website when you add the items to your shopping cart, all the products that are displayed on our site are subject to our final confirmation of the price and availability of the goods that you have ordered.

ORDER CONFIRMATION AND DISPATCH

Once we have confirmed that the goods are available and that your payment has been authorised we will prepare your goods for dispatch. It is at this point that you will receive a confirmation email from us to signify that we are dispatching the goods to your delivery address. This confirmation email also forms the contract between you and us over the products that we have dispatched.

Please note that dispatch times as displayed on the site are a guideline only, as recommended to us by our delivery company, Royal Mail. Unless already supplied please email us on info@gothenburgboots.com if you would like to track your parcel.

UNAVAILABLE PRODUCTS AND INCORRECT PRICES

In the unlikely event that we have uncovered an error in your order relating to the availability or price of your goods prior to dispatch we will contact you by the email address or phone number that you have provided. If after a reasonable amount of time we are unable to contact you we will consider your order cancelled until such time as we are able to confirm the change with you in writing and process your order.

ONCE YOU HAVE RECEIVED YOUR GOODS

Please take care to keep all associated tags and packaging with the products, and keep the products undamaged and unsoiled until you have decided that you want to keep the goods.
